Who is EMMA?

I am a vocalist and vocal coach, but I also play guitar, piano and write my own music! Music and singing has been a part of my life since I could talk. I have had various opportunities performing across Melbourne and Sydney, and most recently I was invited to audition for season 13 of The Voice Australia 2024. My experience has gifted me with an abundance of knowledge and industry-secrets that allow me to support my students at the highest level here at Elevate.

What is EMMA’S Teaching Style?

I take pride in fostering a safe and positive environment where students feel their most comfortable and secure. This allows my students to harness their full performance power, which seamlessly translates to confidence on-stage. I truly believe that with the right tools, support and guidance, any aspiring vocalist can achieve their popstar dreams. 

I teach with a holistic approach, including important elements like performance qualities, mobilising confidence and channelling students’ emotions in song. I have special interest in teaching vocal health and hygiene, ensuring all students are using good technique to sing safely.

WhAT INSPIRED HER TO BE A SINGING TEACHER?

I had so many incredible vocal coaches growing up, who all in their own way inspired me to become one myself. I think there is nothing more rewarding than helping a young individual or artist grow and become more and more confident and consistent in their ability and selves. I grew up with teachers in my family, so I think it’s just in my blood to want to teach and share my knowledge and experience with others.
